MPPI Breakfast Seminar - As Part of the Winnipeg Design Festival

Angela Mathieson is the President and CEO of CentreVenture Development Corporation, assuming the role in January 2015.  Coupling her Bachelor Degree in Interior Design and her Masters Degree in City Planning, with her passion for community, Angela has played a central role in urban development issues in Winnipeg for the last fifteen years.  She held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister of urban affairs for the Province of Manitoba from 2003 to 2006, where she was responsible for urban revitalization programming and provincial finance of the City of Winnipeg.  In 2006 she was appointed Secretary to Cabinet for Community and Economic Development and was a senior advisor to Premier Gary Doer, leading for the Province on major economic projects including the building of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the return of the Winnipeg Jets.  Prior to joining CentreVenture, Angela managed her own successful urban development consulting practice in Winnipeg.
