Upon receipt of your Membership Application form:

  • Applicants for Provisional Membership will be asked to submit a photocopy of their degree(s) and a cheque for the application fee ($50.00) to the MPPI office (2nd Floor, 137 Bannatyne Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 0R3).
  • Applicants for Full Membership who have a recognized planning degree will be asked to submit a copy of their degree(s) (unless already on file at the MPPI office) and their completed Log Book validated by a Full Member (detailing a minimum of 2 years of professional planning experience). They will also be required to successfully complete an Oral Interview.
  • Applicants for Full Membership who have a related degree will be asked to submit a photocopy of their degree(s) (unless already on file at the MPPI office) and their completed Log Book validated by a Full Member (detailing a minimum of 4 years of professional planning experience). They will also be required to successfully complete either a Portfolio or the written examination and successfully complete the Oral Interview.
  • Applicants for Full Membership with an unrelated degree will be asked to submit a photocopy of their degree(s) (unless already on file at the MPPI office)and their completed Log Book validated by a Full Member (detailing a minimum of 6 years of professional planning experience). They will also be required to successfully complete either a Portfolio or the written examination and successfully complete the Oral Interview.
